ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – From ‘Ellen’ at age 6 to an Emmy at age 21, Rockford’s Emily Bear has a habit of making her hometown proud.
The composer and pianist will return to the Forest City to perform at Hard Rock Live for the Rosecrance Foundation’s annual Rockford benefit on May 12.
“Growing up in Rockford, I’ve seen firsthand how Rosecrance has changed so many lives for the better,” said Bear. “And it is such an honor to be a small part of an evening celebrating all of the good that they do. So I really hope to see you there. It’s been so long since I performed in Rockford so I can’t believe that it’s finally happening again. Anyways. It’s going to be great. It’s going to be fun.
