ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – It was a pleasant day with lots of sunshine, once the morning clouds cleared out. Winds were also out of the east and northeast for the majority of the day, keeping our temperatures a bit cooler this afternoon in the upper 60s. Tonight, we’ll see a few clouds overhead with temperatures cooling into the middle 50s by 9pm, before eventually settling into the lower half of the 40s by early Sunday. There’s also the potential for some patchy fog, especially along and east of I-39.
