ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Rockford is coming together through the power of local music at SAD Fest, returning for its fifth year Saturday in the Forest City.
Organizer Lizzie Vega created the event—SAD stands for Soldiers Against Depression—and says it’s meant to be more than a festival. Vega says SAD Fest serves as a reminder that people can find strength and solidarity through music.
