ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A Rockford man is behind bars following a shooting that left another man with a gunshot wound, according to police.
Johnny Wilson, 56, is charged with mob action, attempted murder, violation of pre-trial release, aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and aggravated possession of a firearm by a repeat felony offender.
Just after 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, police were called to the 3300 block of Sablewood Drive for reports of a shooting victim.
