Kunes Auto Exchange expected to open in about 2 months
MACHESNEY PARK — Speedway Auto Mall is preparing to relocate after selling its massive Machesney Park property to Kunes Auto Group.
The 13-acre Speedway Auto Mall property and its 90,000-square-foot building were sold to Kunes in mid-April after 29 years in operation at 1590 West Lane Road. The sale was only for the real estate, not the company itself.
