BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) – A Beloit man faces more than half a dozen charges after he allegedly threatened someone with a gun, led authorities on a chase and crashed into an innocent driver.
Dammen Henthorn, 29, is charged with the following:
- Disorderly conduct while armed
- First-degree reckless endangering safety
- Second-degree reckless endangering safety
- Fleeing an officer
- Possession with intent to deliver THC
- Maintaining a residence for drug trafficking
- Operating while intoxicated
Beloit police report the situation started around 12:30 p.m. May 4, when officers were called to the 900 block of Division Street.
Investigators report Henthorn was said to be involved in a “road-related” confrontation female driver. When a bystander tried to intervene, Henthorn allegedly pulled a gun and pressed it against the person’s abdomen before fleeing the scene. Those involved then called police…
