JANESVILLE, Wis. — One person was transported to Mercyhealth Hospital with life-threatening injuries following a fire in Janesville Sunday afternoon. In an update Monday, officials confirmed the person had died.
The Janesville Fire Department, along with EMS and police, responded to the apartment fire in the 400 block of Locust Street near Johnson Street at around 1:39 p.m.
