McLean Co. Health Dept. addresses concerns of Hantavirus spread on social media

MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — McLean County health officials clarified Tuesday afternoon that there are no Hantavirus cases in the county.

However, the Illinois Department of Public Health said they are looking into a possible case in Winnebago County.

They said it is not connected to the Andes strain responsible for the deadly outbreak on a cruise ship in the Atlantic.
