ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Micah Gillespie, 32, was found guilty on Thursday following a three-day jury trial, according to the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Authorities said on October 8, 2022, Rockford Police responded to an apartment on Garrett Lane for a reported shooting. Officials said multiple calls came reporting a woman had been shot by Gillespie, who fled the scene.
