(FOX40.COM) — A grass fire broke out Tuesday afternoon north of Midtown in Sacramento, officials said.
Just after 1:30 p.m., crews with the Sacramento Fire Department were dispatched to a vegetation fire reported in the 1800 Block of North C Street. Upon arrival, firefighters found half an acre burned. A helicopter dropped water to douse the flames, officials said.
No injuries were reported. The fire department said the fire involved a “a homeless camp,” and is believed to have been a “human started fire.”…
