(FOX40.COM) — A man was convicted by jury of kidnaping a woman who he dragged to his car and attempted to strangle, the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday.
On March 6, 2025, Robert Lamont Brown grabbed a woman, placed her in a headlock, and then dragged her to an idling vehicle about 30-50 feet away. Brown and the woman were strangers to each other, the attorney’s office said.
Once inside the vehicle, Brown got on top of the woman and began strangling her with both his hands. After approximately 45 seconds, Brown threw the woman, who remained conscious, out of the vehicle and drove off, the attorney’s office said…
