Sacramento Is Getting an $11.9 Million ‘Futuristic’ Gas Station Unlike Anything You’ve Ever Seen

Osprey Milestone Mart & Gas Station is coming to 521 Leisure Lane in Sacramento, with a first quarter 2027 opening planned, and calling it a gas station feels like a serious understatement. Owner and CEO Az Chaudhary is investing between $12 and $13 million into what his team describes as the future of convenience retail, a futuristic community hub with six gas pumps, 12 Level 3 EV chargers, a pharmacy, a mezzanine gaming arcade, a golf simulator, a smoker BBQ, rooftop seating, a perfume dispensing machine, freshly made food from a commercial kitchen, fresh juice vending machines, and a robot brand ambassador named Ospro.

“This project is the future of gas stations,” Zach Chaudhary, Vice President of the Osprey Group, told What Now Sacramento “Our vision is to show that a gas station can be a community hub, not just a money-making machine for big brands, but a place that truly serves the community.”

The tech stack is equally ambitious: self-ordering kiosks, a roaming robotic in-store assistant, AI facial recognition checkout, and refueling stations for compressed natural gas and nitrogen fuel vehicles alongside the 12 EV chargers.

The Leisure Lane location is just the beginning. Osprey Group has six more projects already in the pipeline, including locations on Fruitridge Road, Metro Air Parkway, 47th Avenue, and in Bakersfield. the team comes from construction and gas supply backgrounds and also operates a gas station management company, a real estate brokerage, a mortgage brokerage, and a fuel supply business…
