SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Life-long cattle rancher Shirl Woodson said it’s very rare to see her in a city like Sacramento, away from her property in Siskiyou County. But sleepless nights of late have forced her to the state capital.
“Even though I spent the night in Sacramento, I woke up at 1:00 a.m. because I thought I had to go look for wolves,” said Woodson.
