7 Brew Coffee, the Arkansas drive-thru coffee chain that has not yet set foot in California, is now eyeing a second site in Sacramento before it has even opened its first. Placer County records show a predevelopment meeting has been filed for a possible location at 2815 Bell Road in North Auburn, the same address where a Starbucks closed last year, suggesting the brand is serious about making a real push into the Sacramento market.
The proposed North Auburn concept follows the same dynamic. The chain uses a drive-thru-only format nationwide: a freestanding modular building with dual drive-thru lanes designed to maximize stacking capacity and keep lines moving efficiently. No interior seating, no walk-up window, just fast, quality coffee in a format optimized entirely around the car.
The North Auburn site would be 7 Brew’s second planned location in the Sacramento area. The chain is also working on a 910-square-foot coffee stand at 10201 Fairway Drive in Roseville, near a Lowe’s hardware store, according to city records previously reported by the Sacramento Business Journal.
