(FOX40.COM) — A grass fire was quickly extinguished by crews Wednesday morning, and now the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District is working with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District to determine its cause.
At around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, fire district crews responded to a report of a vegetation fire in a field off Grant Line Road near Sloughhouse. Crews arrived to find the fire had burned roughly 1 to 2 acres, the fire district said in a news release.
