(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento man will serve at least half a century in prison for the 2022 murder of a man at a South Land Park liquor store.
The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that D’Anthony Chaney was sentenced to 52 years to life in prison for first degree murder.
On Jan. 2, 2022, Chaney entered Mike’s Liquor in South Land Park. While in the store, he encountered Terrence Lindsey, who was making a purchase. Officials say Chaney approached the counter and exchanged words with Lindsey, with the latter letting Chaney go in front of him in line…
