RIO LINDA — After 18 months of trying to establish The Grotto as something more than another neighborhood restaurant, owner Natalee Price has delivered a difficult message to the community: Without a substantial investment or another long-term solution, the restaurant could close sometime in September.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 3, The Grotto will reduce its hours and move exclusively to dinner service, opening from 3 to 8 p.m.
