(FOX40.COM) — A fire broke out Monday afternoon in a robotics and engineering classroom at Davis Senior High School, prompting a campus evacuation.
A spokesperson from the Davis Joint Unified School District told FOX40 in an email that the fire was reported at about 3:20 p.m., and staff and students safely evacuated as emergency crews responded.
Officials added that the blaze was contained to a single classroom and did not spread to other areas of the campus.
