SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The United States Department of Justice announced on Tuesday that a Sacramento woman was sentenced to multiple years in prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft.
32-year-old Monique Marie Gonzalez Grado of Sacramento was handed down a sentence of four years in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge John A. Menendez for aggravated identity theft and bank fraud. Gonzalez Grado had pleaded guilty to the charges against her on September 9, 2025.
According to the Department of Justice, Gonzales Grado was also ordered to pay $82,142 in restitution to all of her victims…
