Sacramento man sentenced to eight years on weapons, drugs charges

(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento man was sentenced to eight years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, the Sacramento District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

During a parole search of Gabriel Cabrera’s home, authorities found drug paraphernalia and a drug sales ledger in his room, along with a gun and fentanyl in another person’s bedroom, the DA’s office said.
