A 40-year-old Sacramento woman was killed Thursday when the motorcycle she was riding on crashed into the back of a big rig on Interstate 80 in Davis, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. near Richards Boulevard, according to the CHP online activity log.
The CHP’s Woodland office said the driver of the motorcycle was unable to slow down before reaching slower traffic ahead, causing the motorcycle to rear-end the truck. The woman, who was riding as a passenger, was ejected and struck by a semi-truck in the next lane, CHP said…
