(FOX40.COM) — A man was convicted by a jury of second-degree murder in connection with a deadly stabbing at a Rancho Cordova light rail station, according to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
Roderick Earl Sowells was convicted of the death of a man who was stabbed 18 times at a Folsom Boulevard light rail station on Aug. 12, 2023. The jury also found true an allegation that Sowells used a deadly weapon in the commission of the murder.
Sowells faces a maximum sentence of 31 years to life in prison…
