CLAYTON, Mo. – A fast food restaurant employee thwarted an armed robber who held up the store manager at gunpoint earlier this week.
According to the Florissant Police Department’s probable cause statement, the robbery occurred June 22 at 11:45 a.m. in the 2400 block of North Highway 67.
Police said Tamon D. Sleet walked into a KFC armed with a stolen 9mm pistol. Sleet approached the manager behind the counter and told him, “You don’t want to lose your life. Go in there and open the safe.”…
