ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis City Water Division issued a boil water advisory Tuesday morning for more than a dozen neighborhoods after the loss of a water pump at the Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant caused low water pressure.
The Water Division said it has not detected any contamination in the water supply, and the boil advisory for parts of north and south St. Louis was issued out of an abundance of caution.
Water samples will be analyzed before determining when to lift the boil water advisory. Test results were expected within 24 hours…
