ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis County man died Friday in what officials have confirmed was a heat-related death.
The St. Louis County Department of Public Health says the man was in his 80s and lived in West County.
“This tragic loss is a heartbreaking reminder that extreme heat is not just uncomfortable—it can be deadly,” says director of Public Health Dr. Kanika Cunnhingham. “Every heat-related death is preventable, and we all have a role to play in protecting ourselves, our families, neighbors, and especially those most vulnerable to the dangers of excessive heat.”…
