ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A woman faces felony charges after police said she got into a driver’s car, threatened the victim with a razor blade and forced the victim to keep driving before leaving with $20.
Alexis Howell-Joiner, 23, faces charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree kidnapping and two counts of armed criminal action after an incident that occurred in late June, according to court records.
A probable cause statement said that on June 27 surveillance camera footage showed Howell-Joiner entering a victim’s car at a Riverview gas station. She insisted that the victim drive her to a bus station.
Howell-Joiner produced a razor blade and a broken glass pipe, demanding that the victim drive past a bus stop, according to the statement. Police said Howell-Joiner “made stabbing motions” with the blade during the 20-minute drive…
