ST. LOUIS — St. Louis Police arrested a driver this weekend after undercover detectives spotted a silver Chevrolet Corvette driving recklessly downtown, with passengers hanging from the vehicle.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, when officers tried to conduct a traffic stop, the driver tried to get away, but police were able to stop the vehicle with tire spikes.
After the arrest, detectives recovered items promoting street takeovers, and SLMPD says this reinforces their efforts to stopping takeovers and other dangerous activity in the city…
