ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) is searching for suspects who shot at police working a traffic stop on Tuesday night.
The shooting occurred after 9 p.m. when police conducted a traffic stop alongside federal agents at Thekla Avenue and Riverview Boulevard in the Walnut Park neighborhood, according to police.
A vehicle approached the area and opened fire on the officers. SLMPD said no officers were injured.
Officers then chased the suspect vehicle, a gray Ford Fusion with no license plate and a faded bumper sticker, which then came to a stop at the 1500 block of Sells Avenue…
