GRANITE CITY, Ill — A person was taken to the hospital after being shot Wednesday evening in a Granite City home, and a suspect is in custody.
According to the Granite City Police Department, officers responded just before 5:40 p.m. to the 4600 block of Maryville Road to a report of someone suffering from a gunshot wound.
