ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. – Travis Askew lives in East St. Louis and takes westbound I-64 to work. He’s bracing for a closure that was scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on Friday and last until 5 a.m. on Monday, August 24.
“If I can’t get to work, I have to find another way around,” he said.
IDOT is shutting down all the westbound lanes of I-64 from 18th Street in East St. Louis to I-255 in Caseyville.
