Hit-and-run victim in Ferguson remains in critical condition

FERGUSON, Mo. – A man struck in a hit-and-run crash in Ferguson remains in critical condition nearly one week after the incident.

Curtis Henderson, a father of two who goes by Dujuan, was walking on the 10700 block of New Halls Ferry Road, just south of Interstate 270, last Tuesday night when a vehicle hit him and fled the scene, according to his mother, Sherri Lawrence. She said Henderson had been walking to a gas station for candy and cigarettes.

Henderson is in a medically induced coma at a local hospital. His family has started a fundraiser to help cover expenses. Lawrence said she is praying for her son’s recovery and for justice…
