BROOKLYN, Ill. — The family of 21-year-old Jonnae “Nae” Abbott is grieving after they say she was killed as an innocent bystander during a shootout at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at The O Night Club in Brooklyn, Ill.
According to fundraiser organizer Mildred Madison, Abbott’s life “was taken far too soon as an innocent bystander” and she was “at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
“Our hearts are shattered by the tragic loss of our beloved Jonnae ‘Nae’ Abbott,” Madison wrote on the fundraiser page. “Jonnae was loving, kind, loyal, hardworking, talented, and full of life, with so many dreams and goals still ahead of her.”…
