ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis man is charged after a “crime spree” in both Missouri and Illinois.
Jesse Williams, 35, of St. Louis, has been charged with armed robbery, unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle, attempted burglary, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and criminal damage to property. The charges come a day after what officials are calling a “bi-state crime spree.”
According to court documents, on April 26 at around 8:56 a.m., the Alton Police Department was called to investigate a robbery at a Phillips 66 at 1660 E. Broadway, Alton, Illinois. Police say Williams took money and items while armed with a gun…
