Man on parole for murder charged for attempted shooting in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — A man on parole for a prior murder conviction is in custody after prosecutors say he attempted to shoot another man during a fight at an apartment building in St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office, surveillance video shows 60-year-old Tony Martin start a fight on April 17 in the 4400 block of Forest Park Avenue.

Court documents allege that Martin struck the victim and forced him to the ground. During the struggle, the victim pulled a knife on Martin and stabbed him in his side…
