ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is short hundreds of officers. On Wednesday, the department hosted a one-stop shop for any potential candidates, known as the ‘Fast Track Blitz’.
The hiring process for SLMPD had previously taken about six months; however, with the blitz, people were hired in as little as four hours.
