Family of Juan Baltazar sues City EMA, Forestry Division

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The family of Juan Baltazar is suing the St. Louis City EMA and Forestry Division, alleging they have purposely violated Missouri’s Sunshine Law as it pertains to documents requested about the May 16 tornado.

On May 7, Rachel Baltazar, Juan Baltazar’s wife, filed a lawsuit against the City of St. Louis Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) and the City of St. Louis Forestry Division, alleging violation of Missouri’s Sunshine Law, which allows public access to government files upon request.
