ST. LOUIS — Christopher Dunn will remain a free man after an appeals court upheld his 2024 exoneration.
In a unanimous ruling filed Tuesday, the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District upheld the 2024 ruling that exonerated Dunn of a 1991 murder conviction in St. Louis. Dunn was freed from prison after 34 years, and has been fighting to stay free since the Missouri Attorney General’s Office is appealed the exoneration.
