ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A Wood River, Illinois, business owner was charged Monday, accused of defrauding at least one May 16 tornado victim.
The Missouri Attorney General’s Office charged Dennis Daugherty with deceptive business practice, a class E felony. The charges were filed in the St. Louis City Circuit Court.
