A man charged with shooting someone in the face last year at an Apple Valley park has pleaded guilty to assault.
Ibrahim Ali Mohamed, 21, pleaded guilty one count of first-degree assault in exchange for the dismissal of a second-degree attempted murder charge, according to a petition filed on Monday. The plea deal requests a sentence between 86 and 129 months (7-10.75 years).
