Gas prices jump significantly across Twin Cities, Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS — It seems the price of everything is going up, and that includes gasoline.

Fuel app GasBuddy says a gallon of unleaded jumped 17.9 cents last week for an average of $3.22 across the Twin Cities, the biggest one-week increase of 2025. The app’s daily survey of 1,106 stations across the metro found the cheapest station was selling for $2.65 while the most expensive was $3.39, a difference of 74 cents per gallon that underlines the impact of comparison shopping.

Across greater Minnesota, the cheapest gas was pumping for $2.65, while the most expensive was $3.43, a difference of 78 cents…
