PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – A Clearwater man is behind bars after a personal dispute allegedly escalated into a fatal shooting at a Pinellas Park business early Friday morning.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, patrol deputies responded to a report of a gunshot heard at 6612 69th Avenue North at approximately 4:44 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026. Recognizing an urgent situation, deputies forced entry into the building. Inside, they discovered 50-year-old Craig Allan Beeth of St. Petersburg dead on the floor from a gunshot wound to the head.
Detectives from the Robbery & Homicide Unit took over the investigation and identified 44-year-old Robert Leon Worthington of Clearwater as the suspect. Investigators reported that Worthington and Beeth were together inside the business when an argument broke out between them.
