ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg detectives are conducting a homicide investigation after a local woman was found dead inside a hotel room on Thursday morning.
Deputies responded to the Holiday Inn Express at 4816 100th Way North around 11:35 a.m. on June 25, 2026, after a hotel employee reported finding a deceased person in one of the rooms. Inside, deputies located 76-year-old Emma Mullins on the floor.
