The Suncoast gets daily rain chances into the weekend

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -The Suncoast starts in on a wetter stretch of weather. Today we get a fewer late morning and afternoon storms with much better rain chances later in the day. This is due to slowly shifting wind to the southerly direction. Winds will be lighter and storm motion slower, so the chances for a few heavier downpours have increased, especially inland and late afternoon.

Highs in the lower 90s in Sarasota and Bradenton for the next few days will keep the temperatures near normal.

Starting tomorrow the winds will be out of the southeast and will help to return us to the pattern of late day inland storms building inland and drifting back to the coast. This pattern is more typical of the Florida summer…
