TAMPA, Fla. — A man has died following a shooting Thursday evening in Tampa, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched around 5:58 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2026, to the 8200 block of Woodgate Court after reports of gunfire in the neighborhood. Upon arrival, law enforcement found an unresponsive adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
First responders transported the victim to a local hospital, where medical staff later pronounced him dead. Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity, pending next-of-kin notification…
