ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A driver died early Sunday after being thrown from a car during a high-speed wreck on Park Street North, according to St. Petersburg police.
It happened around 12:05 a.m. near the intersection of 33rd Avenue North. Investigators said a silver Kia Spectra was heading north “at an excessive rate of speed” when the driver tried to change lanes.
