TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa man was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for drug conspiracy charges involving nearly five kilograms of methamphetamine and 8,000 fentanyl pills, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday.
U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber sentenced Victor Yoel Perez Cremades, 52, and ordered he forfeit $4,820 related to the offense after Cremades was found guilty in a jury trial in May 2023.

Testimony and evidence from the trial revealed the FBI searched Cremades’ home on Sep. 8, 2021, where investigators found a bag containing more than 800 grams of pills that looked like oxycodone tablets and over 3,000 grams of meth in his bedroom. An additional 145 grams of meth were located in the dining room of the residence.
Additionally, investigators found a suspicious package in the mail addressed to a “fictitious person” at the address which contained another 1,700 grams of meth and 1,200 fentanyl pills, also pressed to look like oxycodone tables.
