SARASOTA — The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce was recently selected as the state’s Chamber of the Year by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals.
According to a news release from the chamber, the honor was bestowed at the FACP annual conference in Boca Raton at the Marriott Boca at the Boca Center.
It also received the award as Best Local Chamber and was a Top 3 awardee for the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Chamber of the Year Award in the Major Cities Category in the U.S. and Canada.
“We are truly honored to receive these local, statewide and national recognitions,” Chamber President/CEO Heather Kasten stated in the news release. “These awards not only highlight the success of our programs and initiatives but also reflect the strength and engagement of our vibrant business community.”
The recognition notes Sarasota Chamber’s “commitment to innovation, excellence in operations, and impactful contributions to the local business community,” the news release stated.
