Two Bradenton construction workers were seriously injured after an SUV crashed into a truck in an active work zone, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
At 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a Tampa man driving a GMC Yukon was traveling westbound on State Road 574, west of Bismark Palm Drive in Hillsborough County, when he entered a construction zone and collided with a Ford F-550 work truck, FHP said in a news release.
