Search Underway For Two USF Doctoral Students Reported Missing In Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – Detectives with the University of South Florida Police Department (USFPD) and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) are requesting public assistance in locating two missing adults last seen in the Tampa area on April 16, 2026.

Zamil Limon, 27, a USF doctoral student studying geography, environmental science, and policy, was last seen at approximately 9:00 a.m. at his residence located at 13612 Avalon Heights Blvd. in Tampa. HCSO documented the missing person report, and authorities stated there has been no confirmed contact with Limon since that time.

Nahida S. Bristy, 27, also a USF doctoral student specializing in chemical engineering, was last seen at approximately 10:00 a.m. the same day…
