TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Alicia Andrews, the woman who aided in the murder of Jacksonville rapper Julio Foolio while he was visiting Tampa in 2024, was sentenced to prison on Friday.
A Hillsborough County judge sentenced Andrews to 15 years in state prison for manslaughter, the maximum penalty, after her sentencing was delayed for several months.

Andrews was tried separately from the four other defendants, who will spend the rest of their lives in prison after their sentencing hearing last week. Isaiah Chance, Sean Gathright, Davion Murphy and Rashad Murphy were convicted of capital murder, a charge that carried the possibility of the death penalty.
The defendants and Julio Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones, were affiliated with rival gangs. Jones was a prominent figure in the city’s “drill rap” scene, which is characterized by songs that disrespect dead gang members and celebrate their murders.
Jones travelled from Jacksonville to Tampa in June 2024 to celebrate his 26th birthday. Andrews helped track his movements as he visited different clubs, before he ended up at a Holiday Inn near the University of South Florida campus…
